A new early childhood education and care (ECEC) service will open in the final stage of Woolooware Bay Town Centre offering 85 places and providing employment opportunities for 23 full time staff.
To be located on level one of what is commonly known as the Sharks development, overlooking Captain Cook Drive in Woolooware Bay Town Centre New South Wales the development application has been lodged by Learn & Laugh, which has seven other early learning centres in Sydney and another on the NSW Central Coast.
The fitout of the service is anticipated to cost $1 million, with the proposal indicating Nordon Jago Architects will be responsible for designing the space both indoors and outdoors. Operating hours for the service will be 7 am – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
Access to the centre will be via stairs or through a lift from within the retail centre. 19 parking spaces will be allocated on the ground floor of the development for parents and staff, and the service is expected to cater for the hundreds of new homes in the development.
