Long-awaited renovations come to fruition at Orange Preschool
Orange Preschool, in regional New South Wales, will shortly undergo a long awaited renovation which is the result of 25 years of fundraising and a generous grant.
Sustainability will be one of the main priorities, Director Sonya Murphy explained to local news source Central Western Daily, along with using local suppliers and tradespeople wherever possible.
Substantial work will be undertaken in the renovation of the preschool, including new children’s bathrooms, a new kitchen, a staff room and a large inter-agency area, with works due to commence in December 2021.
“We are making the most of our space to create an environment that respects our history and improves our future,” Ms Murphy told the paper.
“As a community-based preschool we provide a high-quality service for a diverse range of families. Our refurbishment will reflect the commitment we have to the children and families who use our service.”
“Our families are what drives us to be a better service every day,” she said in closing.
