South Australian families are invited to have their say on children’s learning
South Australian families are being asked to have their say and help shape the future of early learning across the state, to inform the development of the state government’s Early Learning Strategy.
The consultation is seeking the public’s views on and experiences with preschool, development checks and parenting support, with the aim of strengthening the Early Learning Strategy as well as partnerships across government and non-government sectors, and to increase the proportion of children developmentally on track when they start school.
It will align with the Child Development Council’s first annual report, How are they faring? South Australia’s 2020 Report Card for children and young people.
The report identifies the priority to monitor the development of all children from birth, to reduce the number of children starting school with unidentified disabilities and developmental delays.
