Chief Quality Officer appointed as TLC prepares to move into ECEC sector in Vic
TLC Healthcare (TLC) has appointed Cathy Jones to the position of Chief Quality Officer, effective February 2021, as the provided eyes the 2022 opening of its latest development in the Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc that will offer aged care, primary care, childcare, a commercial gymnasium and swimming pool at one location.
Ms Jones has over 20 years of senior leadership experience, joining TLC from Healthscope where she has been the National Director of Clinical Governance since 2006. During that time she was charged with driving strategy, clinical governance, risk management, change and patient experience, with “measured exceptional results”.
Jenny Foley has held the role of Chief Quality Officer since 2016, and will remain in a senior management role with the organisation once Ms Jones joins TLC.
TLC Healthcare CEO, Lou Pascuzzi, said he is delighted to have Cathy join his team, saying she brings with her “a wealth of knowledge and experience”.
“I am privileged to also have Jenny Foley continuing in a senior management position with TLC, providing a formidable quality and risk governance team covering the entire healthcare spectrum of aged, acute and primary care,” Mr Pascuzzi said.
“TLC’s innovative model of integrating aged care, primary care, registered training and child care into community hubs requires a strong team with a broad set of skills and experience. Alongside my existing executive team, Cathy will be tasked with ensuring that all of these services integrate seamlessly to offer the highest quality care to our residents, patients, students and children,” he said.
TLC currently operates 11 residential aged care homes, medical centres and registered training facilities located across Melbourne and Geelong.
