Australia’s favourite children’s music group has released a fresh, high‑energy track featuring viral sensation the Tree of Wisdom, signalling the next phase of a cross‑generational Wiggles revival.

The Wiggles surprised fans with the digital drop of their latest song, recorded in collaboration with Dominic Field’s wildly popular character, the Tree of Wisdom. The release arrives ahead of an arena tour and a full‑length album due later in the year.

Dominic Field nephew of founding Blue Wiggle Anthony Field catapulted to internet fame after an exuberant performance of the traditional folk number Rattlin’ Bog drew more than 200 million views across social media.Field’s improvisational dance style has since earned a devoted adult following self‑styled “tree‑nagers” and positioned the Tree of Wisdom as a key driver of The Wiggles’ renewed cultural relevance.

While the band has not publicly confirmed a title, industry insiders suggest the track re‑imagines Tina Turner’s Nutbush City Limits in The Wiggles’ signature children’s‑music style, complete with an extended dance break led by the Tree of Wisdom and Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins. The cover is expected to feature on the forthcoming studio album Tree of Wisdom, slated for release in October.

The Wiggles’ repertoire is widely used in early childhood programs to promote physical activity. A new, dance‑centric track offers educators another opportunity to embed movement, rhythm and coordination into daily routines.

Collaborations that resonate with families beyond the preschool years help services engage parents and carers, aligning with Quality Area 6: Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities.

The song’s folk and rock origins introduce children to diverse musical genres, supporting the Early Years Learning Framework outcome that encourages children to appreciate creativity and self‑expression.

The Wiggles’ latest collaboration proves the group’s enduring ability to reinvent itself while remaining a trusted resource for educators and families.
