AMIGA Montessori community unites for Teachers Got Talent 2025, raising $9,000 for homelessness

Teachers, families and local performers took to the stage on Thursday 13 June for Teachers Got Talent 2025, a celebration of culture, creativity and community spirit in support of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
Held at the Casey Grammar School Performing Arts Theatre in Cranbourne North, Victoria, the sold-out fundraiser brought together more than 500 attendees and raised over $9,000 to support people experiencing homelessness. The event showcased diverse talents from educators, families and community groups, highlighting a shared commitment to compassion and social justice.
Teachers Got Talent 2025 featured a vibrant program of dance, music and cultural performances. Audiences enjoyed traditional Sri Lankan and Indian dance, youth performances by the Paulino Lora Foundation Choir, and a standout solo by 12-year-old singer-songwriter Senudi Riana. Local dance academies, including Melanie’s School of Dance, Jannali Dance Academy and Aries Bolly Dance School, added colour and energy to the evening.
The event also celebrated strong leadership within the AMIGA Montessori community, acknowledging the commitment of the organisation’s CEO as an ambassador for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout a national initiative raising awareness and funds for people experiencing homelessness.
In attendance was Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald AM, CEO of Vinnies Victoria, who commended the community’s efforts in supporting vulnerable people and building greater understanding of homelessness.
