Little Scholars opens 17th centre in Karalee, offering enriched early learning and family support

Queensland-based provider Little Scholars School of Early Learning has officially opened its newest campus in Karalee, bringing its play-rich and family-focused approach to the Karalee community, located in the fast-growing Ipswich corridor west of Brisbane.
The centre welcomed its first families today, offering early learning and care for more than 90 children. The Karalee campus is the 17th in Little Scholars’ expanding network across South East Queensland and reflects strong local demand for high-quality early education options.
Founder Jae Fraser said the centre was designed to create a warm and inspiring environment where children can play, learn and grow.
“Our newest Little Scholars campus answers a clear call from local families for more high-quality early learning places,” Mr Fraser said.
“As a proud family-owned Queensland company, we’ve channelled our experience, passion and a significant investment into creating a nurturing, play-rich environment where children can thrive close to home.”
The centre includes a range of thoughtful supports for families, designed to make daily life easier. These include chef-prepared take-home meals and the “Family Time” program, which offers on-site services such as dental checks, haircuts and allied health support.
Children also participate in Little Scholars’ signature experiences, including yoga, gardening and language learning, along with an intergenerational program that fosters friendships between children and aged care residents.
To mark the official opening, a community open day will be held on Saturday, 15 June. Families are invited to tour the centre, meet the educators, and take part in activities such as face painting, sensory play and a visit from special guests.
“Little Scholars is all about supporting the whole family, not just the child,” Mr Fraser said. “We’re excited to become part of the Karalee community and can’t wait to welcome more local families to this purpose-designed learning environment.”
