Ensuring every child feels safe
The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) is dedicated to improving the wellbeing of all Australian children and young people.
Through evidence based advocacy and initiatives, ARACY focuses on six interconnected domains essential for children’s wellbeing:
- Being loved and safe
- Having material basics
- Being healthy
- Learning
- Participating, and
- Having a positive sense of identity and culture.
In collaboration with UNICEF Australia, ARACY is hosting a webinar 15 May 2025, to discuss:
- Insights into the “Valued, Loved, and Safe” domain of The Nest Wellbeing Framework
- Discussion on how factors like violence, poverty, and systemic issues impact children’s safety
- Strategies for creating supportive environments for all children and young people
