New South Wales long day care service Kids Academy Glenmore Park is celebrating its progress against the National Quality Standard, moving from a rating of Meeting to a rating of Exceeding during its latest assessment and rating experience.
The service has a long standing reputation in the Glenmore Park community, which it has been a part of for more than 25 years, with the latest rating described by centre manager Jessie as being “ a wonderful milestone for a team who always put children and families first.”
Kids Academy Glenmore Park was named as Exceeding in four of the seven National Quality Standards, namely:
1 – Educational program and practice
4 – Staffing arrangements
5 – Relationships with children
7 – Governance and Leadership
Speaking on behalf of approved provider Affinity Education Group Acting National Quality Manager Mel Nour said the team’s commitment to quality and compliance is “truly outstanding.”
“The team has cultivated a deep understanding of their dynamics and individual strengths, strategically harnessing them into champion roles that empower everyone to excel and drive continuous improvement.”
“The sense of teamwork within the centre is inspiring, built on strong morale and meaningful connections – not just among the educators but also with the children, their families, and the wider Glenmore Park community,” Ms Nour said.
“This tight-knit bond fosters an environment that is both supportive and inclusive.”
Affinity Operations Manager Olga Klaassen congratulated the team also, saying what truly sets them apart is the culture of connection, dedication, and pride in their shared mission.
The Exceeding Rating achievement reflects the team’s strong focus on building respectful and meaningful relationships with children and families, as well as delivering an educational program that is responsive, engaging, and tailored to support every child’s learning journey.
