City of Whittlesea announces launch of Whittlesea Early Years Partnership meetings

The City of Whittlesea’s Children and Families Department will facilitate a series of meetings in 2025 as part of the Whittlesea Early Years Partnership (WEYP).
The series of meetings is aimed at connecting family services and early childhood professionals to address the evolving needs of children and families in the Whittlesea, Victoria municipality.
The WEYP meetings offer a vital opportunity for professionals to engage in meaningful discussions, share best practices, and contribute to building a more connected and responsive network. Participants will play a key role in shaping the future of early years services, ensuring that children and families in Whittlesea receive the support they need to thrive.
The meetings will be held at the City of Whittlesea Council from 12-2pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday, 4 March
- Tuesday, 3 June
- Tuesday, 9 September
- Tuesday, 11 November
By fostering collaboration between schools, kindergartens, long day care providers, and other stakeholders, WEYP aims to address the challenges facing the community while providing a platform for members to exchange insights, discuss community needs, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
The partnership will focus on several key priorities in 2025 including strengthening local services and building effective partnerships across the community, alongside addressing emerging challenges such as social isolation, family violence, and the impacts of rapid population growth.
