Queensland celebrates four ECEC services who joined the Excellent ranks in 2024

The Queensland Department of Education, which serves as the state’s regulatory authority, has celebrated the four early childhood services awarded the Excellent rating in 2024- the highest rating attainable under the National Quality Framework.
The following services were recognised nationally for exceptional education and care by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) in 2024:
- Pelican Waters—Golden Beach Preschool Kindergarten and Child Care
Golden Beach Preschool Kindergarten and Child Care was awarded the Excellent rating for the third time in 2024. Read more about the service’s exceptional practice
- Immanuel Early Learning Centre
Also located on the Sunshine Coast, Immanuel Early Learning Centre was awarded its first Excellent rating. See examples of the service’s exceptional practice
- Winston Glades Early Education Centre and Preschool
Ipswich-based Winston Glades Early Education Centre and Preschool joined ACECQA’s list of Excellent-rated services last year. Find out more about Winston Glades’ exceptional practice
