AI focused The Sector Connect+ event once again sees Daitum shine
Early childhood education and care (ECEC) online news platform The Sector’s flagship networking and knowledge series Connect+ was held in Sydney last week, with a group of ten sector leaders in attendance alongside AI rostering specialists Daitum.
Connect+ is an innovative format which allows ECEC thought leaders and key decision makers to participate in niche, small-scale networking activities and knowledge building experiences which explore key issues impacting the sector.
By bringing together a diverse group of qualified and experienced senior leaders with subject matter experts The Sector CEO and Founder Jason Roberts is able to leverage his expertise to facilitate an experience which is incredibly well received by attendees.
The Sydney event had strong attendance, with positive feedback about the value of the unique format, something which Mr Roberts would have appreciated in his former position as a senior leader in a large scale long day care provider.
Based on that experience, he shared, he knows “just how important it is to occasionally step outside of the day to day business activities and mix with like minded professionals in an environment that not only fosters learning but also connections.”
The inclusion of subject matter expert Daitum at the event was a highlight for many, with attendees welcoming the opportunity to engage with Philipp Rohlfshagen, a renowned expert in narrow AI and Chief Executive Officer of Daitum, about the game changing impact artificial intelligence is having on the sector.
Daitum is a leader in using AI to solve complex operational problems, with a specific focus on automated rostering for the ECEC sector. Mr Rohlfshagen was well positioned to discuss the use of AI in solving a number of common issues for ECEC providers- such as rostering, budgeting and forecasting, as well as the positive impact AI solutions can have on staff satisfaction and retention.
For Mr Rohlfshagen having the privilege of being able to share his knowledge with an informed, engaged and responsive audience was welcomed.
Daitum has been encouraged by the interest in the subject shown by the ECEC sector, and by the broad consensus that emerged amongst the group in discussions that AI can, and does, play a valuable role in supporting ECEC organisations to achieve better business outcomes.
Attendees showed a strong interest in Daitum’s data driven rostering solutions technology, something which was viewed as “a game changer.”
For Mr Roberts, another highly successful Connect+ event was confirmation that The Sector has “hit the mark” with the format, one which he looks forward to progressing.
