ECEC educators needed for study on digital platforms and how they are used in services

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child is seeking input from early childhood education and care (ECEC) educators and early childhood service owners to learn more about which digital platforms are used by early childhood educators and how they are used across different ECEC services.
The study aims to build greater understanding of what works well with these platforms and what areas may need further support and development.
Participation in the study involves completing an online survey that includes questions about the use of digital platforms in ECEC settings, and includes questions on what digital platforms respondents use (if any) with the aim to build an understanding of the benefits and challenges associated with digital platforms.
Researchers want to know more about the factors that enable or hinder use of digital platforms such as access to support and professional learning opportunities. The survey is anonymous and should take between 20-30 minutes to complete.
They hope the research will provide important insights into the affordances and limitations of digital platforms used by early childhood educators and care professionals, anticipating that their findings will be useful to the developers of these platforms as they review and revise their products.
