ARACY offers scholarships to support ECEC educators
The Australian Research Alliance for Children and Youth (ARACY) has announced a limited number of scholarships, designed to support early childhood education and care (ECEC) professionals to attend and lend their expertise to the task of building a better future for babies and toddlers across Australia.
Ten successful applicants will receive a free-of-charge registration valued at up to $979 each to support them to attend the Summit, ensuring that “the broadest possible range of views are heard.”
To be held in March, the National Early Years Summit 2020 has been developed by ARACY and associated partners “because, although the evidence of what we need to do to support babies, toddlers, and their families has been clear for years, too many children are still missing out.”
Headed up by Patron Barbara Wellesley AM the Summit will feature 60 thought leaders and panelists, aiming to “clear the roadblocks preventing evidence being turned into better lives for our children and families.”
Scholarship Applications close 5pm (AEDT) Monday 3 February 2020 with successful applicants to be contacted by close of business on Friday 7 February. Those wishing to register, independent of scholarship, may do so here.
Full registration for the two day Summit is $979, with ARACY members eligible for a discounted rate of $869. Membership applications may be made here, or via phone to 02 6248 2400.
