Ms McFarland started the role in mid-February, and brings more than 25 years’ experience working across private and not-for-profit sectors – including Qantas, Telstra, Suncorp, QSuper and UnitingCare – across diverse areas of marketing, commercial strategy, sales and operations and customer service.

Ms McFarland said she was extremely proud to join a purpose-driven organisation and lead work around Goodstart’s future direction.
“I’m joining at such an exciting time in Goodstart’s journey,” Ms McFarland said.
“I’m looking forward to working in partnership with our people, our leadership team and board to build on the organisation’s success to date.
“We recognise it’s our people, our families and children who are the lifeblood of our organisation and their experiences with us will continue to remain front-and-centre in our future planning.”
“I look forward to leading this important work that continue to see Goodstart continue to deliver on its vision for Australia’s children to have the best possible start in life.”
