Update: ECEC Owners and Operators Forum to not proceed as planned in 2026
The Sector has confirmed that the ECEC Owners and Operators Forum will not proceed as planned in 2026.
The event, which was to be held at the Victoria Park Marquee in Brisbane on 27 February 2026, would have been the second edition following the inaugural version last year.
“It is with regret that we share the news that we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Owners and Operators Forum,” Jason Roberts, Founder of The Sector said.
“Hosting events of this nature is a complex and multi-layered exercise. Unfortunately on this occasion a number of factors, some within our control, and others that we were not, have combined to lead us to this point.”
“We sincerely apologise to all those that have been affected.”
All delegates who have purchased tickets will be contacted in the next 24 hours and will be provided with confirmation of the cancellation and a full refund.
The Sector remains committed to its program of Connect+ events and will continue to update its community with information on future events at a later date.
