Georges River council celebrates success of bin trim networks program with local early learning centres

Georges River Council is proud to announce the successful delivery of the NSW Environment Protection Authority’s (EPA) Bin Trim Networks Program, in partnership with the Ethnic Communities’ Council of NSW (ECCNSW) and five local Early Learning Centres.
This $258,000 project is an initiative of the NSW Environment Protection Authority under the NSW Government’s Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy and is funded from the waste levy. Managed by the ECCNSW through the Bin Trim Networks Program, the CALD Communities Social Enterprises move towards a Circular Economy project provides tools, resources and guidance to culturally and linguistically diverse social enterprises to help them reduce waste and move towards more sustainable practices. The Georges River Council Early Learning Centres involved in the program are:- Carss Park Narani Childcare, Carss Park
- Jack High Childcare Centre, Beverly Hills
- Oatley West Early Learning Centre, Oatley
- Penshurst Long Day Care, Penshurst
- South Hurstville Kindergarten, South Hurstville
