2025 ClubGRANTS funding applications now open

Applications for the latest round of ClubGRANTS Category One Funding are now open, inviting early childhood education and care (ECEC) services to access funding from registered clubs with annual gaming machine revenue exceeding one-million dollars which can be used to directly fund local priority projects and services.

ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest and most established grant programs and is a partnership between ClubsNSW and the New South Wales Government. It commenced in 1998 to formalise the longstanding practice of clubs responding and contributing to local community needs.

More than 8,600 charities and not-for-profit community groups received an average grant of $7,508 under the ClubGRANTS scheme in 2023/4.

Over $120 million in financial support for community services, projects and programs was provided in the year to 31 August 2024 under the ClubGRANTS scheme. That figure exceeded the mandatory contribution required under the Guidelines by over $45 million.

Applications for the 2025 round opened in February and close at the end of May. Community initiatives, programs or services that may benefit from a funding boost are invited to apply.

Priority funding categories for 2025 are mental health, domestic and family violence, prevention and support of homelessness, and First Nations programs.

Secondary funding categories include women and family health, childcare services, aged and veteran support services, all abilities programs, disadvantaged young people, transport services for identified social needs, sustainable living, and housing.
