MercyCare implements QR codes to support feedback response times

All MercyCare early childhood education and care (ECEC) services will soon have QR feedback codes on site in response to survey results which showed “a clear need for a more effective, on-going ‘complaints, compliments, and feedback’ process.”
The installation of the QR codes follows a network wide process of getting confidential feedback regarding care quality and service delivery.
“We received an incredible 400+ responses, which enabled us to gather extremely valuable information and feedback that will support continuous improvement,” a MercyCare spokesperson said.
“As we reviewed the feedback it was clear there was a need for a more effective, on-going ‘complaints, compliments, and feedback’ process.”
The QR codes will be located in the centre foyer near the sign in area and will allow families to easily and quickly provide confidential feedback at any time.
To ensure that this process is equitable for those who may have issues with accessing a QR code, the link is also pinned to Xplor Comms.
Serious concerns or complaints can still be submitted to the relevant service directly, following MercyCare’s Family Grievance Process so that they can be addressed promptly.
MercyCare believes feedback is important and will help the provider to celebrate what is working and to address any areas that may need additional focus. The provider hopes this process will provide easier and more accessible ways for families to provide feedback about their experience.
