What is the history of Prepare Early Education?
The first Prepare service opened in 2018, with the most recent – Baulkham Hills – opening in 2021.
What is the Prepare Early Education vision and approach to learning?
Prepare believes that the first five years of a child’s life are the most crucial for laying the foundation for future development, respecting that childhood is a journey of discovery and exploration, whilst also being a time to learn and experiment about life and the world.
The provider believes that children learn through their experiences with play, self-independence, social interactions and imitating others. Therefore, the environment will stimulate their curiosity, provide independence and expose children to a strong emphasis on demonstration and role modelling.
Children’s home experiences are used to encourage the development of children’s self-concept through inclusive practices.
What is the Prepare Early Education approach to employee growth and professional development?
Prepare offers a structured mentoring program, and aims to provide all employees with a positive, innovative and supportive staff culture.
Speakers and experts from the early childhood education and care sector are a regular part of the employee growth experience, and team building activities are part of the offering also.
Employees are offered above award wages, a 40 per cent discount on gap fees and financial incentives for obtaining further qualifications.
Are there any unique aspects to the Prepare offer?
Prepare offers an inquiry based program of learning called Prepare Early Education Program (EEP) which is designed to cater for individual learning styles and encourages children to be confident, active participants in their learning.
Six key curriculum areas are covered in the EEP, namely:
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- Science
- Creative Arts
- Health and Wellbeing
- Sustainability
