G8 Education appoints new National Pedagogy and Practice Manager
G8 Education has confirmed the appointment of Meg Parnell to the role of National Pedagogy and Practice Manager effective immediately.
“Meg brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the organisation. She has held positions in Government, the NFP Education sector and a range of school and education based roles, including centre and kindergarten support roles,” G8 Education posted on their Linked In page.
Ms Parnell is a seasoned early learning professional having worked in some Queensland, and Australia’s, largest early childhood education and care providers.
A qualified early childhood teacher, Ms Parnell worked for the Department of Education and Training QLD for around twenty years before joining not for profit provider C&K where she spent a further eight years in a broad range of roles, both in service and out.
In 2020, Ms Parnell joined Goodstart Early Learning as Head of Practice Improvement a post which she held for nearly two years before transitioning to the Pedagogical Leadership – National Lead.
As the National Pedagogy and Practice Manager at G8, Ms Parnell will be joining the Early Learning and Education team headed up by Alison Evans.
