Alannah & Madeline Foundation welcomes Janelle Hopkins to Board of Directors
Accomplished executive Jannelle Hopkins recently accepted a Board position at the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, an invitation she describes as a privilege.
Ms Hopkins is currently the Chief Financial Officer at REA Group, and prior to that she held senior roles at Australia Post, where she was the Group Chief Financial Officer, and National Australia Bank.
She started her career with Professional Services firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where she developed her passion for leadership, business transformation, and growth.
Board Chair Greg Sutherland said he was delighted to welcome Janelle to the Foundation, describing her as “a stellar executive” who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Board.
“She adds to the depth of knowledge and expertise, particularly in financial management, risk, technology and business transformation, at a time when we are carving out a strong, sustainable future for the Foundation,” Mr Sutherland said.
Ms Hopkins said she looks forward to helping deliver work which “drives meaningful impact in building a future where children and young people can flourish”.
“I feel privileged to join the Foundation’s Board as I know that helping to build a strong future for children can have such a huge impact – ensuring they have access to the support they need when faced with trauma, or the education that can help them build their digital skills.”
“I look forward to using my knowledge and expertise to help drive change and growth for the Foundation and I am excited to be working alongside the Board and staff of the Foundation to succeed in bringing the Foundation’s vision to life,” she added.
