Daniela Kavoukas appointed CEO to lead CCC into a new chapter
Community Child Care Association (CCC) has announced the appointment of Daniela Kavoukas as its new Chief Executive Officer, following a comprehensive recruitment process. Daniela brings extensive sector experience and a strong vision for the organisation’s future.
CCC Board Chair Linda Davison said the Board was delighted to appoint Daniela to the role.
“We are confident that Daniela is the best person to lead our organisation into the future. Her strong knowledge of CCC operations will allow for a smooth transition from our outgoing Executive Director, Julie Price,” Ms Davison said.
Daniela is well known to many in the early childhood community as a passionate advocate for quality education and care. Her career spans work as an award‑winning educator and leadership roles across community‑based early education and care services.
Since joining CCC in 2018, Daniela has held a series of pivotal positions, most recently as Services Manager. Her leadership during this time has strengthened service delivery, advocacy efforts, and sector partnerships.
To ensure continuity during the transition, Narelle Lawton will step in as Acting Services Manager while recruitment for the permanent role is undertaken.
CCC thanked its community for their continued support and expressed enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead under Daniela’s leadership.
“We are thrilled to welcome Daniela to this role and look forward to the energy and expertise she will bring as CEO,” Ms Davison added.
