HEI Schools will build ECEC service in Adelaide’s Market Square redevelopment

HEI Schools will open its first South Australian centre in Adelaide’s landmark Market Square redevelopment project, signing a 10year lease commencing from 2025.
The HEI curriculum is based on the Finnish early childhood education model and offers a progressive education model for families.
The service is expected to cater for 66 children, who will benefit from the unique HEI Schools concept jointly developed by HEI Schools and the University of Helsinki.
Educators in HEI services are trained continuously by the Finnish pedagogies from the University of Helsinki, and the services themselves embrace Nordic design concepts, where children are supported to learn in “a calm yet inspiring environment”.
“We are very excited by the opportunity to expand into the Adelaide market. HEI Schools has been looking to expand into South Australia for some time and the prestigious development provided the perfect platform. Both Market Square and HEI Schools are unique ventures – they complement each other and will allow us to bring something new and innovative to the community,” said HEI Schools Australia Managing Director Ken Yu.
HEI currently operates eight early childhood education and care (ECEC) services in Australia, with plans for future expansion.
