Chris Sacre tenders resignation as a director of Evolve Education Group
Chris Sacre, one of five directors on Evolve Education Group’s Board, has tendered his resignation after nearly four years in the role.
Mr Sacre was appointed to the Board in November 2018 as part of a sweeping reorganisation of the New Zealand based early education provider which had suffered from a number of years of declining operating and financial performance.
In a notice published on the New Zealand Stock Exchange the company confirmed that Mr Sacre had resigned due to his wish to commit greater time to his growing business interests outside of Evolve.
Board Chair Hamish Stevens shared the Board’s appreciation of Mr Sacre’s work, on behalf of the Board and the wider business, and his valuable contribution to the Company.
“The support and knowledge provided during his time on the board has been of significant benefit to Evolve over the past three and a half years,” Mr Stevens said.
“We wish Chris all the best for the future.”
The remaining four directors remain unchanged with Hamish Stevens as Chair, Chris Scott as Managing Director, Kim Campbell as Independent Director and Adrian Fonseca as Independent Director.
Mr Sacre’s last day as an Evolve Director will be on 31 October 2022 with the Board signaling that it will commence a director search in due course.
