St Nicholas Early Education bands together to provide flood support

Educators, children, and families have teamed up across St Nicholas Early Education centre communities to donate funds and items for victims of the recent devastating floods in Queensland and Northern NSW.
At St Nicholas Early Education Maitland, the centre team organised a ‘donation drop’, where families and community members could give non-perishable items to be sent to those affected by the floods.
The Singleton centre also collected donations for victims of the floods, where non-perishables and basic goods were collected for those in need while the team at St Nicholas Early Education Lochinvar launched a flood appeal, where families were able to donate funds to go towards purchasing resources for Lismore Community Preschool, which was ravaged by the floods.
The appeal was initiated by a child in Lochinvar’s preschool room, who wanted to do more after spending time learning about the importance of kindness in his room. $272.60 was raised in total.
A Go Fund Me page has been created to support those preschools affected by the floods. For more information about St Nicholas Early Education please see here.
