New early learning centre opens at Dianella Community Centre

Construction of the new early learning service at Dianella Community Centre is now complete, built with capacity for 132 four-year-old and 88 three-year-old kindergarten enrolments.
Operational from Term 1 2022, the service will help to meet the growing demand for three and four-year-old kindergarten in the area.
The project includes three kindergarten rooms, maternal and child health consulting rooms, community rooms, outdoor activity spaces such as a playground, a half basketball court, BBQ area and amphitheatre.
“We are making sure that rapidly-growing local communities get the facilities they deserve ─ this new early learning centre is a great service for Tarneit families and their children,” Minister for Local Government and Suburban Development Shaun Leane said.
The project received $2 million in government support from the Children’s Facilities Capital Program Major Grants program and $2 million from the Growing Suburbs Fund. Wyndham City Council also provided more than $5.1 million towards the project.
