FROGS Early Learning Centre in Nannup joins REED cluster model in WA Wheatbelt
The FROGS (Free Range On Grange) Early Learning Centre is the latest service to join the Regional Early Education and Development Inc (REED) cluster model in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt.
The REED model offers a new cluster model of management to provide early childhood education and care (ECEC) services across the Wheatbelt, working to reduce the burden on local Committees and Shires to provide these vital community services.
Several other ECEC services have joined the not-for-profit service in the past two and half years, something REED says signifies the broader reach and need for REED services beyond the Wheatbelt.
FROGS is located at 32B Grange Road Nannup. It is licenced to care for 19 children from birth to 12 years of age, four days a week and employs five staff. Following the transition to the REED model the service will now be known as REED Nannup.
The merger takes the number of REED locations to 20 approved services within the Wheatbelt, which includes long day care, home day care, occasional care, and after school care.
