Affinity Head of People and Culture named on Global 100 list for outstanding HR practice

Linda Carroll, Affinity Education Group’s Head of People and Culture, has been recognised by Human Resources Director Magazine (HRD) in their 2021 HRD Global 100 list.
The annual Global 100 recognises the outstanding achievements of HR leaders from six markets – Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Asia-Pacific, and the UK, with the 2021 edition celebrating leaders who have shown a significant commitment to their companies throughout the last twelve months, safeguarding their employees and deftly navigating a constantly changing landscape.
While 2020 was a challenging year for many in the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector, Affinity noted the ‘record number’ of internal promotions made by the provider, as well as employer-funded accredited training pathways as being significant achievements.
“Our People and Culture team have been instrumental to this success. We are very proud of these achievements during what has been a uniquely challenging year,” a spokesperson said.
Ms Carroll joined the Affinity team in March 2014 as Senior HR Business Partner, having had more than twenty years experience in HR Management. During her time with Affinity, she counts a key role in launching the Affinity Learning Academy training program for employees as a key achievement, and, more recently, the nomination of herself and her team as finalists at the 2020 Australian HR Awards.
