Kangarootime confirms plans to launch sector leading CCMS platform in Australia

United States-based childcare and early learning software provider, Kangarootime, has confirmed that it intends to launch its sector leading childcare management platform in Australia with plans now sufficiently advanced to confirm a go-live date in early Q1 2021.
The company’s software enables centre directors and educators to automate their processes, such as billing and classroom ratios, and properly communicate with parents. Kangarootime leverages a Parent App to allow parents to follow along with their child’s day, pay their bills and view important messages from their child’s service.
Kangarootime, which was founded in 2015, is one of the most robust childcare management platforms in the United States with around 1,000 services currently supported plus a pipeline of future product developments in place.
Their decision to enter the Australian Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector is part of a broader strategy to expand their offering globally and is a result of almost four years of planning and preparation.
“We are thrilled to be in the position to confirm the launch of Kangarootime in Australia early next year. We feel strongly that our relentless focus on placing children and their families at the core of every single decision that we make has enabled us to create a platform unlike any that is currently available in Australia at the moment,” Kangarootime founder and CEO, Scott Wayman said.
“Our ability to create a customised eco-system that captures the specific needs of our customers is second to none, and made possible by our versatile architectural design and values based partnership approach.”
The use of automation technologies allows centre directors and educators more time back in their day to keep their focus where it matters— the children. Kangarootime customers report saving 15-20 hours per month when they use Kangarootime’s suite of automation tools. In addition, the Kangarootime feature set enables customers to pick and choose which processes they would like to automate and which they would like to maintain as manual.
Kangarootime time has been developed based on API first which enables seamless integrations with existing complimentary technology solutions – Kangarootime is all about nurturing the ecosystem through meaningful partnerships.
“Providing choice to customers as to how they configure Kangarootime to best meet their needs is an integral part of our offer. With the help of our newly appointed Australian team, I am confident that we can make a real difference to the ECEC sector in Australia,” Mr Wayman said.
Sharyn Fewster, General Manager, will be heading up the Australian operations with the support of Product Manager expert Nick Roots, and sector icon Christine Curphey heading marketing and communications.
“The opportunity to add value to Australian ECEC providers via the Kangarootime platform is substantial. With our collective ECEC experience and arguably the most experienced CCS development team in the country, we feel we are very well positioned to hit the ground running launch in 2021,” Ms Fewster said.
