The Playwork Gathering 2019

Playwork is both a profession and a specific way of working with children which is framed within an ethical policy called 'The Playwork Principles'. Although relatively new in Australia, a Playwork approach to working with children is gaining popularity, especially in the OSHC sector.

 

This first Gathering in Australia will provide you with an introduction to Playwork Theory, Playwork Principles and Playwork Skills, all in an OSHC context, with a mix of presentations and workshops for you to choose from.

 

It will be delivered by the experienced British Playworker, Marc Armitage, with Kylie Keane, educational leader at the recently 'outstanding rated' FOOHSC in Canberra ACT, and Angus Gorrie, program manager at the award winning Camp Hill OSHC in Brisbane QLD, plus a number of guest presenters.
