Building Foundations: Behaviour that challenges social success in young children
November 27, 2025 - November 27, 2025
A workshop with Dr Mary Louise Hemmeter on how to recognise, reframe and support challenging behaviour in young children.
Dr Mary Louise Hemmeter’s deep interest in developing supports for addressing young children’s challenging or dysregulated behaviour was developed through extensive research related to young children with and without disabilities.
In this workshop, Dr Hemmeter will provide insights into recognising, reframing and supporting behaviour that may be challenging for a child and the adults working with the child.
With a focus on tools and measures that include the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) Dr Hemmeter shares data from the program-wide model that impacts both child and adult behaviour and outcomes, enabling the adult working with the child to support the child through social challenges.
