Are you the parent of a child with minimal verbal language? Or are you a clinician who works with children with minimal verbal language?
Join Dr Madonna Tucker (AEIOU Research & Assessment Manager) and Joanne Stephen (AEIOU Senior Speech Pathologist), along with Grace Frost (Acting Manager and Research Coordinator) from Daphne Street Autism Specific Early Learning & Care Centre, to learn about a new series of guides designed to provide practical support to clinicians working with children with minimal verbal language.
The guides provide guidance in the areas of:
– Assessment
– Goal setting
– Choosing interventions and strategies
– Evaluating and reporting outcomes
These guides were developed with the support of Autism Specific Early Learning and Care Centres (ASELCC) across Australia, and in partnership with the Menzies Health Institute Queensland (Griffith University).
