Hard Yards is a unique one-day conference giving principals, teachers, advocates, families and educational leaders an opportunity to explore new thinking and practices in the field of trauma and critical reflection.

The keynote speaker is Professor Judy Atkinson, author of Trauma Trails and Song Lines. She will be presenting a trauma informed approach to healing generational trauma for Indigenous Australians.

Other Speakers will also include Associate Professor Fiona Gardner, Head of Social Work and Social Policy at La Trobe University and Anne Southall, PhD candidate and lecturer in Education and Trauma at La Trobe University.
