Dr Mona Delahooke – Beyond Behaviours – Live Online Q & A
Dr Mona Delahooke is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 30 years experience caring for children and their families.
She is a frequent speaker, trainer, and consultant to parents, organisations, schools, and public agencies and has dedicated her career to promoting compassionate, relationship-based, neuro-developmental interventions for children with developmental, behavioural, emotional, and learning differences.
Over the last 30 years, as a psychologist, Dr Delahooke became increasingly concerned about the shortcomings in how we help children and teens with behavioural challenges and developmental differences. She believes many of our current approaches are out-dated, since they were developed well before the “decade of the brain”, which provided a wealth of knowledge about how humans develop psychological resilience and informed us how to apply this knowledge to behaviourally challenged and neuro-divergent children.
This talk will be highly relevant to parents, family members, teachers and other professionals working with children with ADHD or behavioural challenges.
I invite you to join me in speaking with Dr Delahooke, who is leading a movement that insists we do better for our vulnerable children by using cutting edge brain science, emotional development, compassion and HOPE.
