Critical Friendship and Reflective Inquiry – Part One and Part Two

Please join me on this journey of critical friendship and reflective inquiry. Every educator deserves a critical friend, a trusted person who “will ask provocative questions and offer helpful critiques” (Costa & Kallick, 1993, p. 49).

 

This 1.5-hour interactive webinar will introduce the theory and research on critical friendship as it relates to reflective inquiry, a method of thinking deeply about practice. What do you think would be the impact of a critical friendship to your practice and the practice of others? At the conclusion of the webinar, you will be offered a friendly invitation that will challenge you to look within your own sector for a critical friend. You will be prepared with recommendations and guidance so that when you come back for webinar two, you will be able to share your critical friendship experiences!
