The Beginning Teacher Conference (BTC) Series supports early career teachers working in funded kindergarten programs across Victoria. Whether you’re in your first year of practice or preparing to graduate in the next 12 months, this conference series offers valuable professional learning and the chance to build sector connections.
Series 1 focuses on play-based learning, program planning and assessment, with expert-led sessions and opportunities to engage in deep-dive discussions with peers and presenters.

Louise is a nationally recognised early childhood consultant and advocate, known for her work in inclusion, curriculum design and professional learning.Professor Caroline Cohrssen – Assessing children’s learning
Professor Cohrssen is based at the University of New England and has contributed to national initiatives such as the AERO Early Childhood Learning Trajectories project.
