The Northern Territory Education and Care Awards are an annual event to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of early childhood and school-aged educators and service providers.

The awards recognise early childhood educators, and service providers (from birth to five years) who deliver quality learning opportunities, are innovative in their approaches and demonstrate exceptional commitment to achieving quality outcomes for Northern Territory children and their families.

Nominations are now closed for the following Award categories:

· Outstanding educator

· Outstanding Aboriginal educator

· Outstanding early childhood teacher

· Outstanding leader

· Outstanding achievement in innovation (service award).
