Early Learning Victoria takes October roadshow to regional communities ahead of 2027 openings

Early Learning Victoria (ELV) will visit five regional Victorian communities in October, connecting with families and prospective employees ahead of the opening of new government-owned early learning centres in early 2027.
New ELV centres are set to open in Cohuna, Avoca, Nicholson and District, Newborough East and Meeniyan, offering long day care and integrated kindergarten programs for children from birth to six years of age.
Ahead of the openings, ELV will hold a series of Recruitment and Enrolment Information Evenings, giving local communities an opportunity to learn more about enrolments and employment opportunities at the new centres.
The October roadshow will give families, jobseekers and early childhood professionals an opportunity to meet ELV representatives, learn more about enrolments and explore employment opportunities at the new centres.
Early Learning Victoria is a child-safe organisation focused on delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, with professional learning and development opportunities available to employees.
Positions at the new centres will offer competitive salaries and flexible rosters. Incentives may be available (subject to eligibility) and flexible leave options can be considered.
Each centre is expected to operate from 7am to 6pm and will provide long day care and integrated kindergarten programs.
The regional information sessions will be held on the following dates:
Cohuna – Tuesday 6 October, 7pm–8pm, Cohuna Consolidated School, 12–26 Mead Street, Cohuna

Avoca – Wednesday 7 October, 7pm–8pm, Avoca Information and Community Centre, 122 High Street, Avoca
