40 new preschools for Western Sydney families

The New South Wales Government has awarded contracts for the design and construction of more than 40 new public preschools, co-located with existing public schools, which collectively will offer places for up to 3,600 children a week across Western Sydney.
With a scheduled opening date of early 2027, the new preschools will offer fee-free, quality play-based educational programs, and will contribute to the Government’s commitment to double the previous number of public preschools available.
Of the 100 new public preschools, 51 are metropolitan Sydney and 49 are in regional NSW, located in communities identified as most in need following a rigorous independent selection process.
A contract has been awarded to Richard Crookes Constructions to design and construct the 40 public preschools, the locations of which can be found in the list below.
A further seven preschools will be delivered for families in Oatlands, Melonba, Gables, Greenway Park, Leppington, Melrose Park and Nirimba Fields, with contracts to be awarded later this year.
