Affinity Education Group named in 2024 Best Places to Work list
Early childhood education and care (ECEC) provider Affinity Education Group has been named in the 2024 Best Places To Work list compiled by The Australian.
50 Australian companies were named on the list, which was published in The Australian on 22 August. Inclusion on the list was based on a national employee survey conducted by WorkL, with the Affinity Education Group named in the top 9 in the ‘High Flyers’ category for companies with up to 10,000 employees.
Affinity CEO Tim Hickey said the company’s promise of Potential, Realised and six ‘Affinity Way’ values was a driving factor in Affinity’s ability to offer a positive employee experience.
“At Affinity, we offer so much more than a job in childcare – we offer a career pathway to every employee who walks through our doors whether they are a trainee, or expert in their field,” Mr Hickey said.
“Our Centre Support Office in Brisbane also has an incredible vibe and environment created to make every day enjoyable – from our stunning cafeteria space where employees enjoy fresh fruit, regular morning teas and easy access for informal gatherings, to our wellness partnerships with local gyms offering employees free or discounted memberships.”
Affinity Education Group operates more than 238 early education centres nationally, with further new centres planned to open in Victoria and New South Wales over the coming months.
