Talia stands out as a Certificate III trainee: her experience

Sparrow Early Learning Tewantin have celebrated recent Certificate III trainee graduate Talia, acknowledging her efforts in not only completing her qualification, but also her dedication to the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector by naming her as Trainee of the Month.
Inspired by her experience and success, she has once again embarked on the trainee experience, undertaking studies to complete her Diploma in Early Childhood.“Talia’s journey embodies a spirit of excellence and commitment to inspire, nurture and grow young minds,” Sparrow shared in a piece to its website.
“From the moment she joined us as a trainee, Talia has showcased enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine love for nurturing young minds.”
One of the biggest highlights for those working with Talia as she finished her studies was that she “consistently surpassed expectations, demonstrating maturity and dedication well beyond her years.”
When asked about what drew her to working in ECEC Talia said that while she wasn’t sure of what to expect when she started her traineeship, she quickly learned that “showing my face and making an appearance to the children has been the most passionate and rewarding part of learning.”
“Showing up made an impact towards the children’s day to day interactions, which made me so passionate about what I do and the impact it has towards the children,” she said.
Spending time in the bush kindy program has been the most rewarding part of working at Sparrow Early Learning Tewantin for Talia, who said “being right on the lake behind the centre is so beautiful. Taking a group of children back there, with some blankets and being one with nature…We are extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful place.”
In terms of the traineeship program, Talia found that learning all about the different aspects of becoming an educator was the best part of her study journey, along with having access to hands-on experiences while she was getting her qualification.
