Kinder Kits are back for 2024 for Victorian 3yo Kindergarten participants

The popular Kinder Kit initiative is back again in 2024, and will be available for every eligible child enrolled in Three-Year-Old Kindergarten next year.
Kinder Kits are activity boxes which are filled with books, toys and activities which are made especially for Three-Year-Old Kindergarten children to enjoy at home.
Eligible children are those who:
- Start funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten in 2024
- Are in their first year of Early Start Kindergarten or Access to Early Learning.
Three-year-olds in long day care settings which are not delivering a funded Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program, and four-year-olds in kindergarten programs are also not eligible.
Kinder Kits are limited, so it is important that services only distribute kits to eligible children.
To ensure that a service will receive kits for eligible children, approved providers are asked to add [email protected] to their email contacts so they don’t miss any emails providing instructions on how to order.
The Victorian Department of Education will verify orders against the government’s Kindergarten Information Management System (KIMS) data, and as such services are asked to ensure their three-year-old kindergarten enrolment numbers are up to date.
