The Sector launches new mobile App, begins hunt for additional newsletter opportunities

The Sector, the early childhood education and care (ECEC) community’s largest and most trusted news source, has launched a new mobile App and commenced scoping for additional newsletter opportunities in a bid to extend the channels available for readers to access its high quality, dedicated ECEC content.

“We are super excited to be launching our very own The Sector mobile app,” The Sector Founder and CEO Jason Roberts said.

“We have been quite patient with how we approach the adoption of an App into our organisational model but feel now the time is right to provide our growing audience base with a complementary alternative to access our full range of dedicated ECEC content, and ancillary services.”

“The app, which is now available to download on both Google and Apple stores, will mirror all of the content that can already be found on our flagship website, including our recently launched ECEC jobs search platform.”

Alongside confirmation of The Sector’s new mobile app launch was an acknowledgement that the team remain focused on broadening and deepening the range of channels available for ECEC professionals to access their content.

This includes ongoing research and consultation on a range of new, niche ECEC focused newsletters, to meet more specialist subject matter interests of some segments of their audience base.

“With over 40,000 ECEC professionals visiting our site each month and two well established, and very popular newsletters, we are in a very strong position to consider extending our engagement with additional, specialist newsletter deliveries,” Mr Roberts said.

“Although we are very early in the process, it is really part of our organisational DNA to be looking for new opportunities to support the sector, and with our app now launched our efforts will shift more firmly to this space.”
