Multimillion development proposal for centre in Sydney’s Northwest
Development plans have been lodged with Blacktown Council, which could see families living in Marsden Park having access to a purpose-built centre on the corner of Richmond Road and Grange Avenue.
On the site of what was previously two residential blocks, University Property Group PTY LTD submitted plans to council that include a ground floor early childhood facility, catering for up to 100 children, a basement level carpark catering for 120 vehicles, and 78 residential units.
Planning documents accessed in line with the application indicate that the centre will cater for children from birth to six years of age, and will be open from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
The documents indicate that the price point for the units will be such that they are “highly affordable”, with the intention of attracting first home buyers and young families to the development.
