G8 workforce management partner Ceridian acquires Australian roster specialist RITEQ
Ceridian, the US workforce management company that this year announced a partnership with G8 Education, has confirmed the acquisition of Sydney headquartered provider of enterprise workforce management solutions RITEQ.
RITEQ, which was founded in 2001 and has specific applications for a range of industries and sectors including early childhood, provides a range of workforce related solutions to over 350 customers via its flagship product the RITEQ Workforce Manager.
RITEQ Workforce Manager provides optimization and rostering capabilities, time and attendance functionality, absence management tools, award interpretation systems as well as data insights and mobile interactivity.
Of particular note is their predictive application capabilities that uses demand drivers such as foot traffic, occupancy levels, special events, weather or anything that impacts your staffing requirements to forecast roster requirements in advance and in turn improve their efficiency.
This type of technology is of particular interest to early education and care providers (ECEC) in Australia given the regulatory framework requires ratio determined educator levels in centres and the relatively high labour costs to revenues that ECEC organisations manage.
Commenting on the deal David Ossip, Chairman and CEO, Ceridian said “We believe that the combination of the RITEQ team’s talent, deep workforce management capabilities, and market expertise will amplify the value we deliver to employers in these markets.”
