This conference will assist educators in developing and reviewing their QIP to ensure it is an effective document, driven by effective processes, to drive continuous improvement at a service level.

It will focus on how the QIP can be used as a tool to assess practice, identify strengths and effectively plan for ongoing improvements. Throughout the day we will focus on:

• developing a new QIP or modifying an existing QIP to ensure it is a valuable and useful tool
• systems to ensure that the QIP is used authentically and regularly to drive practice improvements

• reviewing the QIP against the revised National Quality Standard
• presenting the QIP to get the most out of assessment and rating
