The 2024 June Wangmann Memorial Lecture: Engaging with stakeholders in locally relevant ECEC program initiatives

The past year has witnessed an explosion of national inquiries and reviews that the ECEC community has responded to and influenced. Reflecting on these expectations, the topic for the invited lecture, “Engaging with stakeholders in locally relevant ECEC program initiatives” will shift the focus from national to community priorities.We are delighted that Associate Professor Jen Skattebol, Deputy Director of the TeEACH Research Centre, Western Sydney University, will be our 2024 guest speaker. Jen’s presentation will be followed by questions and a Panel Discussion.The panel guests include Dr Catherine Jones (Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader, Goodstart Early Learning Kurri Kurri), Paula Hind (Family Coordinator, KU Macquarie Fields Preschool), and Natalie Grenfell (General Manager Inclusion Programs at KU Children's Services).We warmly invite ECEC providers, professionals, practitioners, researchers, and students from all backgrounds to participate in this engaging and dynamic event.
