This symposium brings together accomplished Western Sydney University researchers and leading community organisations to showcase and promote the role of co-design between research and industry in achieving excellence.

The symposium features invited presentations from Christine Legg, CEO KU Children’s Services and National President Early Childhood Australia, and Associate Professor Christine Woodrow, Centre for Educational Research at Western Sydney University. Other topics include:

Community engagement and collaboration for children
Improving assessment and support for children’s language development
Food allergies and transition to school
Diversity, difference and social Justice in early childhood education

The symposium culminates with a collaborative discussion between researchers and industry to formulate future research priorities and projects.
