Developmental Language Disorder is a big term for children struggling in the classroom with their language skills. In this session we’ll look at what DLD is, and what expressive/receptive delays, or the ‘oral language gap’ means for your students when they start to read and write. We’ll look at some specific areas where you can build strategies and activities into your day to support language skills and some resources (and places to go to for more resources!) to support these students in your classroom.
